Pellet Wall

Every year, we need to find space to store the pellet bags that heat our home. We order at least 1 tonne in 15 kg bags. This year, to save as much garage space as possible, we came up with a solution: stack them along a wall. Problem: the resulting "bag wall" risks collapsing past a certain height. So we designed a kind of anchor to fix to the wall and wedge between the bags to hold them in place.

Features

The idea is to keep the bags pressed against the wall and neatly stacked. The assembly consists of 2 3D-printed parts, a strap, and a few standard hardware items. One printed part simply attaches the system to the wall, the other supports the bags — similar to the anchor plates seen on walls or chimneys of old houses.

Placed every 3 bag heights, at the junction between 4 bags, the whole stack is secured and neatly organized!
